Boat washing with a twist. We use a non abrasive wash & wax to wash off all the salt and dirt, without stripping any of the boat wax coating protecting your paint or gel coat. However, we further add a separate 'quick wax' spray before drying the yacht with chamois. This results in a 'just waxed' shine and illustrates how at American Yacht Maintenance we always go that extra mile!! This service is a little extra than a standard wash down, however that extra goes a long way! - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

N.B. Wash & Shine can be completed using Wet Spot water filtration systems to soften fresh water before it hits your vessel, this protects your yacht from hard water, and prevents water spot marks.

Gone are the days when we have to use hard, abrasive rubbing compounds to literally scrape the oxidation off of gel coat. We use the latest liquid Super Yacht Oxidation Remover that simply washes off oxidation to bring back the shine without abrasion. This is followed by the application of Super Yacht boat Wax, a professional grade marine wax providing the highest standard of long lasting shine. This service truly brings boat detailing to a whole new level.

Super Yacht Mirror Sealant is applied after boat wax to create the 'show look shine'. This is essential if your yacht is a showpiece or you simply want the highest level of shine and protection possible for the surface of your boat.

$5000 is the federal fine for disposal of oily waste into US waterways, so it's well worth insuring bilges are kept in check. All engines big and small need cleaning and its easier to diagnose engine problems when they're clean and what a great selling point to have a clean, conditioned engine (lets face it, when was the last time you bought a car with an oily, dirty engine!).

We provide a full and comprehensive engine room cleaning service, firstly removing oil and bilge water, then safely dispose of it. Degrease engines, engine rooms, bilges and condition engine to protect and shine. If required engines can be repainted before conditioner and diapers will be laid under engine and in bilges.
